Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Manager to join our team at The Verriez Group Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development of new products and processes, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Pre-Sales Support: Provide expert support to internal and external customers, sales staff, and management to ensure seamless product development and sales processes.
  2. Customer Support: Offer technical assistance to customers, addressing their inquiries, product questions, and documentation needs.
  3. Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to analyze competitor pricing, sales data, and industry standards to inform product pricing and development strategies.
  4. Project Management: Lead projects from concept to production, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of new products and processes.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with customers, marketing, and cross-functional teams to define new products, resolve product-related issues, and drive business growth.
Essential Functions
  1. Product Development: Develop and implement new products, processes, and product modifications, ensuring they meet our quality and innovation standards.
  2. Process Improvement: Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
  3. Supplier Management: Source and manage suppliers, equipment, materials, and tooling to support product development and production.
  4. Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve customer problems, production issues, and technical matters to ensure seamless product delivery.
  5. Team Support: Provide technical guidance and support to sales, technicians, production workers, and other teams to meet project objectives.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Experience: 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong background in product development and process improvement.
