At U-Haul, we're seeking a friendly and motivated individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative.

About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others and working in a fast-paced environment. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of our company's exceptional service, ensuring that customers receive all the help they need on their journeys. Your responsibilities will include inspecting and maintaining equipment, assisting customers, and using up-to-date technology to dispatch and return equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist customers inside and outside our centers with U-Haul products and services.
  • Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
  • Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
  • Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels.
  • Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
  • Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
  • Install hitches and trailer wiring.
  • Fill propane (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
  • Drive a forklift (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a $100 hiring bonus and a $300 cash bonus for completing U-Haul Equipment Inspection and Verification through our 1-2-3 Punch Certification Program at retail stores.
