British Columbia Land Surveyor Project Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced British Columbia Land Surveyor to join our team as a Project Manager. As a key member of our BC Geomatics team, you will be responsible for leading project teams to deliver quality work on time and on budget. You will work closely with clients to manage expectations, scope creep, and scope changes through active communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project teams to deliver quality work on time and on budget.
- Monitor project and team performance, forecasting project outcomes and adjusting where necessary to deliver successful project outcomes.
- Engage in diverse leadership responsibilities, including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, performance management, scheduling, and time off administration.
- Manage client expectations, scope creep, and scope changes through active communication.
- Identify and resolve client, project, and/or team issues.
- Communicate with clients and internal team members to ensure timely flow of information, actions, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
- Ensure Quality, safety, legislation, and industry standards are met or exceeded.
- Foster a high-performance environment, mentoring and supporting the development of self and project team members.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Geomatics Engineering Technology, B.Sc. in Geomatics.
- Registered as a British Columbia Land Surveyor (BCLS).
- 3+ years of previous project management experience with demonstrated success in managing client expectations, scope, budget, forecast, schedule, and quality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work without supervision.
- Effective time management and strong organizational skills while working to project deadlines.
