We are seeking a highly skilled Field Inspector to join our team at 09 Irving Oil Limited. As a Field Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and fixed assets to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop inspection strategies and identify root causes of asset integrity problems.
  • Monitor the status of inspection intervals and equipment plans to ensure compliance with RBI, PM, and P&PVI group teams.
  • Ensure that all asset integrity processes and procedures are maintained and followed.
  • Provide inspection coverage for major and maintenance projects.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and evaluate data involving corrosion rates, remaining life, level 1 fitness for service, and RBI.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and record keeping to department policy and standards.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify root causes of issues.
  • Experience dealing with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong technical report writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of MS office applications, particularly Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Engineering, Engineering Technologist, or equivalent work experience.
  • 4-7 years of experience in an industrial plant or refinery setting considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of API certifications 570, 571, 510, or 653, and/or NDE certifications would be an asset.
  • Class 5 Driver's License required.
