Principal Cloud Operations Developer

Join our team of curious and collaborative professionals who are shaping the future of technology. As a Principal Cloud Operations Developer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the security and stability of our cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective incident responses to minimize customer impact and keep colleagues informed.
  • Collaborate with development teams to advise on cloud architecture, operational stability, security, cost management, and reporting requirements.
  • Independently learn and implement new capabilities and tools supporting infrastructure governance and monitoring.
  • Develop and improve DevOps processes, adding value through optimization, automation, and effective reporting.
  • Proactively manage cloud environments to minimize service-impacting issues.
  • Ensure new services meet operational readiness standards before being accepted into operations.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with practices and policies.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to business stakeholders as required.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure as code development, with the ability to lead architecture and technology evaluations.
  • Willingness to learn cloud security principles, practices, and tools.
  • Strong enterprise software development experience, preferably with C#.NET.
  • Expertise in PowerShell, Bash, and/or Node JS scripting.
  • Knowledge of API development, REST, microservices, and serverless architectures.
  • Knowledge and experience in operational support, software development, and deployment methodologies and principles.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, able to convey information clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent analysis and dissemination skills.
  • Maintains and develops relevant industry and technology knowledge.
