Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Grand Falls Agromart Ltd. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a semi-truck and trailer, transporting goods across various routes, and ensuring timely delivery of cargo. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class 1/1F/A Licence, Air Brakes Endorsement, and excellent navigation skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate inventory and cargo handling
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle condition and safety
  • Communicate with central dispatch and relay information regarding cargo, route changes, and vehicle status
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements
  • Valid Class 1/1F/A Licence
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Excellent navigation skills and ability to use GPS and other navigation devices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with regular overtime and flexibility to adapt to changing routes and schedules. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be organized, and have excellent time management skills.
