Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Grand Falls Agromart Ltd. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Route Planning: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods with precision and care.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Inspections and Record-Keeping: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement and Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks).
  • Documentation: Familiarity with driver logbooks and inspection reports.
  • Equipment: Experience with GPS and other navigation equipment.
  • Transportation: Valid driver's licence and ability to work locally.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work overtime, perform repetitive tasks, and sit for extended periods.
