Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Richardson International in Lethbridge, AB. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance activities, including the repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, alignment of gears, shafts, pumps, gear boxes, belts and agitators, and use of laser equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform repairs and maintenance activities to ensure the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.
  • Repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including pumps, gear boxes, and belts.
  • Alignment of gears, shafts, pumps, gear boxes, belts and agitators.
  • Use of laser equipment for precision alignment and measurement.
  • Installation and removal of motors.
  • Connection of couplings and belts.
  • Fabrication of equipment and parts.
  • Troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment and systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Valid Journeyman Millwright Certificate.
  • Skills to operate precision metal cutting & grinding machines such as lathes, milling machines, drills & grinders.
  • Able to use instruments such as micrometers and vernier calipers & prepare working sketches.
  • Able to fit parts to mechanisms and verify dimensions.
  • Able to work with computerized maintenance system.
  • Willing to work weekends and overtime.
  • Excellent computer, communication and documentation skills.
