About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and physically fit individual to join our team at VIVO Insulation Ltd as an Insulation Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our insulation team with various tasks related to construction and material handling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Task Execution: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Support to Medical Examiner: Assist the medical examiner in charge with tasks as needed.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Maintenance and Operation: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, requiring manual dexterity and the ability to handle heavy loads.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude.
  • Training and Experience: Willingness to train and a permanent employment opportunity with 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English or French language proficiency.
