Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Composting and grinding of samples for analysis
  • Performing chemical analyses such as protein, moisture, fat, and ash
  • Preparing samples for analysis according to procedure
  • Tracking the status of tests to meet client time commitments
  • Coordinating with department personnel for smooth workflow

Your Profile

Required skills include knowledge in wet and instrumental chemistry, analytical skills, and familiarity with Laboratory Information Management System. Physical dexterity is necessary for sample manipulation.

Work Environment: The role is in a laboratory setting with exposure to fumes, chemicals, and materials. Safety equipment is required, and lifting of materials up to 50 pounds may be necessary.

The pay for this role is $18 - $22 per hour CAD.
