Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated **Carpentry Supervisor** to oversee our construction projects at OAK & STONE CONSTRUCTIONS. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient operation of our carpentry teams and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and recommend strategies to enhance productivity within the team.
  • Address and resolve work-related issues, offering technical guidance to improve both productivity and product quality.
  • Supervise and manage carpentry personnel and project activities.
  • Coordinate and schedule daily operations and project timelines.
  • Facilitate training sessions or arrange for appropriate training for team members.
  • Set up and maintain necessary equipment for carpentry tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Order and manage materials and supplies required for projects.
Work Environment
  • This position involves travel to various job sites.
