About the Role


This leadership position is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with PeaceHealth's mission and values. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of supply chain principles, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.



Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product standardization
  • Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements, leveraging best practices and innovative solutions
  • Serve as a liaison between departments, vendors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to develop and maintain accurate inventory control systems, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods and information
  • Manage departmental budget oversight, including routine monitoring, adjustment, and annual budget development process
  • Analyze data to inform business decisions, identify trends, and drive strategic initiatives
  • Mentor and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of respect, innovation, and excellence


Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience
  • Minimum 7 years of healthcare experience, with emphasis in medical supplies, supply chain, or purchasing
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving business results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Technical competence in core materials management functions, including procurement, distribution, and logistics
  • Proficient with MS Office applications, with a strong analytical mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment


Salary and Benefits


The salary range for this role is $134,000 - $202,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, PeaceHealth offers a comprehensive benefits package, including full medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 403(b) retirement plan with employer match, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
