As a key member of our team at Aversan Inc., you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining high-quality technical documentation for our clients in the aerospace, defense, and space industries.

The ideal candidate will have excellent French and English oral and written communication skills, with a strong attention to detail and an aptitude for understanding and explaining complex technical information. You will work closely with our technical staff to gather data and create user-friendly documentation that meets the highest standards of quality.

Your responsibilities will include planning, researching, writing, and editing hardware and software user documentation using S1000D XML Editor and MS Word. You will also collaborate with Product Specialists, Technical Authorities, and Technical Instructors to verify content and ensure accuracy.

In addition, you will be responsible for conducting internal Peer Reviews and coordinating reviews and signoff processes. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for technical writing, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • University degree or College diploma in Communications, Computer Science
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Technical Writer
  • Excellent French and English oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements
  • Organized, with an ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in S1000D XML authoring tool and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of HTML and DITA
