Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at La Rozzi Bistro and Filipino Grocery Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
  • Prepare and submit reports, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Establish work schedules, balancing staff needs with business demands.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality control.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and grow with the company.
