Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Karengunning. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personal care and support to clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and transferring
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Shop for food and household supplies
Requirements:
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions:
  • Work in clients' homes, with occasional travel to employer's office
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and bending
  • Physically demanding, with potential for heavy lifting and carrying
