Job Title: Java Developer

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our team at IT Unlocks Mission. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, configuring, developing, maintaining, and evolving software products to meet the organization's needs.

Job Description

IT Foundations Development Directorate Enterprise Content Management

We proudly deploy end-to-end cross-functional solutions that enhance the digital experience for our members, clients, and employees. Our applications include electronic signatures, document sharing with external parties, and digital vaults.

As a Java Developer, you will contribute to IT efficiency primarily within the Documentum team. You will analyze, design, configure, develop, maintain, and evolve software products to meet the organization's needs. You will share responsibility for the quality of the coded solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development of implementation strategies, conducting analysis, and developing software products, including design, coding, testing, automation, and operations, while applying best practices in development, data, and security.
  • Document technical solutions and practices to ensure product sustainability and participate in documentation creation, preparation, and dissemination of training for peers and users.
  • Provide technical support to IT operations, conducting problem analysis, identifying causes, following up on system issues during medium to high-severity incidents, and ensuring their resolution.
  • Work in co-creation with business partners and architects to understand and align solutions that represent the business's intentions and objectives.
  • Participate in the installation and testing of software packages or the implementation of applications.
Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in French or English is required.
  • Specific knowledge:
    • Knowledge of Documentum / Smartview D2.
    • Knowledge of the following development languages and frameworks: Java, Rest API, Spring/Spring Boot/Spring Data/Spring Cloud, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, JPA/SQL, XCP.
    • Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
    • Knowledge of microservices and PaaS architectures.
    • Knowledge of Dynatrace and Splunk tools.
    • Ability to manage complexity, master technology, and coordinate.

Required: 4+ years of experience in Java, French or English, Documentum / Smartview D2, API Rest, Spring/Spring Boot/Spring Data/Spring Cloud, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, JPA/SQL, XCP, JIRA and Confluence, Microservices and PaaS architectures, Dynatrace and Splunk. Willing to work 2 days a week at the downtown Montreal office.
