Job Summary:

A successful Desjardins Insurance Agent is seeking a qualified professional to join their team as an Insurance Account Representative. We are looking for a motivated and results-driven individual who can help our business grow through value-based conversations and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, and identify customer needs to market appropriate insurance products and services.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals, driving business growth and revenue.

Requirements:

  • Previous sales experience, preferably in outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing.
  • A successful track record of meeting sales goals and quotas.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive problem-solving and a dedication to customer service.
  • Ability to multitask and make presentations to potential customers.
  • Property and Casualty license (preferred) and the ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Life license within 90 days of employment.
