We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated student researcher to join our team at the National Research Council Canada. As a student researcher, you will have the opportunity to work on leading-edge projects that align with your academic interests and career goals.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for students to gain valuable work experience in research and development, while contributing to the advancement of Indigenous knowledge and innovation. You will work closely with our team of experts to design, implement, and evaluate research projects that address critical issues facing Indigenous communities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis on topics related to Indigenous studies
  • Develop and implement research projects that align with the needs of Indigenous communities
  • Collaborate with team members to design and evaluate research projects
  • Communicate research findings and recommendations to stakeholders

Requirements

  • Self-declare as an Indigenous person (First Nation, Métis, or Inuit)
  • Currently enrolled in a recognized educational institution
  • Returning to full-time studies in the next semester
  • High school diploma (or grade 12 equivalent)
