At SMOKES POUTINERIE WESTDALE, we are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment and be able to supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Hire food service staff and prepare budget and cost estimates.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
  • Knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres and ability to supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
