Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Direct and control daily operations, plan and control budget and expenditures, and hire, train, direct, and motivate staff.
- Market Research: Plan and direct market research studies to understand customer needs and preferences.
- Reporting: Oversee the preparation of reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Marketing: Work with the marketing department to understand and communicate marketing messages to the field and plan and direct advertising and marketing campaigns.
- Sales: Plan, direct, and monitor activities of the sales department and approve the sale of insurance policies.
- Education: Bachelor's degree.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, organized, client-focused, and efficient interpersonal skills.
- Mentorship: Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for persons with disabilities.
- Cultural Competency: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Support for Newcomers: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
