Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Baker - Pastry Specialist to join our team at CRIVELLER CANDIES/THE CHOCOLATE & PASTRY BOUTIQUE. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality pastries, bread, and other baked goods according to our recipes and customer orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters.
  • Prepare special orders.
  • Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff.
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
  • Draw up production schedules.
  • Train staff.
  • Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas.
  • Operate machinery.
  • Organize and maintain inventory.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Client focus, dependability, reliability, and team player skills.
