Accounting Student Opportunity

PCL is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Student to join our team in Halifax, NS. As an Accounting Student, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects and develop your skills in a supportive and dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and processing financial transactions, including accounts payable and journal entries.
  • Monitor and reconcile transfer of funds from corporate office.
  • Prepare and process bank deposits and cash receipts.
  • Verify vendor addresses and enter into the accounting system.
  • Enter and process revisions.

Requirements:

  • Working towards a degree or diploma in accounting, finance or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Intermediate level skills with Microsoft programs, specifically Excel.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
