About the Role

PCL is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Student to join our team in the Atlantic Canada District, Halifax, NS. As a student at PCL, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects in a supportive environment that promotes personal and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and reconcile A/P and journal entries.
  • Monitor and verify transfer of funds from corporate office.
  • Prepare and process bank deposits.
  • Enter and process cash receipts.
  • Verify vendor addresses and enter into the accounting system.
  • Process and enter revisions.
Requirements
  • Working towards a degree or diploma in accounting, finance or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Intermediate level skills with Microsoft programs, specifically Excel.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
