About the Role:

This exciting opportunity will see you working on complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects throughout Ontario. As a Water Resources Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include building analytic and design skills, performing work under supervision, and applying provincial and municipal design criteria to support the development of preliminary and detailed designs for stormwater management systems.

You'll also be responsible for assembling data from various geospatial databases, stormwater design reports, and related documents for hydrologic and hydraulic model development, as well as assisting with fieldwork related to water quality and sediment sampling.

In this dynamic role, you'll have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our Water Resources team to deliver high-quality results and contribute to the successful completion of critical infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and apply technical knowledge and skills in water resources engineering
  • Support the design and implementation of stormwater management systems
  • Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and analysis
  • Assist with fieldwork and data collection
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Solid working knowledge of industry-standard hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS)
  • Working knowledge of ArcGIS
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
