About the Role

This is a permanent position working 35 hours per week. The successful candidate must have secondary (high) school graduation certificate and at least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role. You will be required to interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to plan methods or sequences of operation, operate computer controlled equipment, conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, and perform other related tasks as required.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to plan methods or sequences of operation
  • Operate heavy equipment, including hydraulic pumping systems
  • Read blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Operate computer controlled equipment
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
  • Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:
