Job Title: Construction Site Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at HIMCAN CONSTRUCTION & RENOVATIONS INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare production and other reports to track project progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies.
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines and minimize delays.
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions to maintain a skilled and motivated team.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure workers have the necessary skills to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Estimate costs and materials to ensure projects are completed within budget.
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements and identify potential issues.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure projects have the necessary resources.

Requirements:

  • Bondable and able to maintain a clean record.
  • Team player with excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • At least 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 to 35 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
