The Opportunity

As a Product Support Specialist at Wajax, you will play a vital role in the sales process, building customer relationships and providing expert knowledge to drive business growth. You will work closely with the Wajax team to deliver comprehensive customer experiences and identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell.

The Role

  • Invest in customer relationships within a defined territory to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct sales calls to clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Generate customer referrals through exceptional service and product knowledge.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell to increase revenue and customer loyalty.
  • Provide customer feedback to inform product development and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the Wajax team to deliver comprehensive customer experiences.
  • Meet and exceed established sales targets through effective sales strategies and customer engagement.
  • Assist in the creation and submission of bids for national customer opportunities.
  • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery and compliance with customer requirements.

The Candidate

  • Education: A college diploma or related Red Seal Certification in a field such as sales, marketing, or business.
  • Work Experience: 2-3 years' experience in sales, marketing, or a related field.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of heavy equipment is an asset, as well as experience with IMPACT selling and CRM software.
  • Proficiency: Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
