As a Unit Clerk in our Oncology Clinic, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families. Your keen observation skills, compassionate communication, and organizational talents will make you a valuable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transcribe and process clinician orders, ensuring timely and accurate completion of requisitions for tests or services.
  • Organize diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients, coordinating interrelated appointments and communicating related instructions to patients.
  • Gather patient information to facilitate efficient patient flow, requesting, receiving, and transporting patient information to designated clinical areas.
  • Perform receptionist duties, including greeting and registering patients, supporting wayfinding, and responding to inquiries.
Requirements:
  • Completion of Grade 12.
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
  • Graduation from a recognized Nursing Unit Clerk Program.
  • One (1) year's recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
