Retail Store Supervisor Job Description
GASBAR MOBIL is seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles
- Authorize payments by cheque and ensure accurate financial management
- Establish work schedules and ensure a smooth workflow
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, providing guidance and support when needed
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that products are displayed attractively
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
- Team player with a positive attitude
