Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Structural Assembler to join our team at AAA Canada. As a key member of our assembly team, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, and subassembling aircraft systems, parts, and components.

Responsibilities

  • Install and assemble aircraft systems, parts, and components according to technical specifications and instructions.
  • Use technical data and instructions provided by the client or aircraft manufacturer.
  • Read and interpret plans or manufacturing files to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Adapt to various assembly types, including large and small components.
  • Operate manual or automated machines and tools to assemble metal and/or composite parts.
  • Ensure the correct fasteners, drill holes, and products are used for assembling.
  • Inspect and check installed units, parts, and equipment to ensure fit, performance, and compliance with standards.
  • Comply with quality standards, production rates, and health, safety, and environmental standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position in the field of aeronautics.
  • Vocational diploma in aeronautical structure assembly or equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge of reading drawings.
  • Dexterous and able to work with precision.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Bilingualism (French-English) is an asset for communication in a multilingual environment.
