Job Overview

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) to fill the role of Care Coordinator in our Berkley Care Centre team. About the Job

This dynamic leadership role requires strong clinical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for patient-centered care. As a Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to designated staff, coordinating resident care activities, and promoting a culture of excellence within the team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to designated staff members
  • Coordinate resident care activities and promote a culture of excellence
  • Act as a clinical resource for staff, supporting training and development needs
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to achieve outstanding resident outcomes
Requirements
  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) with the British Columbia College of Nursing and Midwives (BCCNM)
  • Three (3) years' recent experience in the designated clinical area
  • One (1) year's administrative/supervisory experience
  • One (1) year's clinical teaching experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
