Job Summary

Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited is seeking a skilled Slot Attendant to join our team. As a Slot Attendant, you will provide exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring they have a memorable experience at our casino.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist guests with slot machine reservations and promote casino initiatives.
  • Manage slot machine operations, including replenishing and maintaining machines.
  • Provide cash handling services, including verifying and providing jackpot payouts.
  • Work in compliance with internal controls, company policies, and provincial lottery/gaming policies.
  • Report any violations and escalate to the appropriate level as necessary.

Requirements

  • Experience handling cash and working with the public.
  • Superior customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of slot machine functions is an asset.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time and lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Serving It Right (BC) certificate.
  • The ability to obtain registration with BCLC.
