Job Title: Concrete Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Brenta Forming and Framing. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade specifications.
  • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is properly set.
  • Level the top surface of concrete according to grade and depth specifications.
  • Impart the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures as required.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
  • Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions from supervisors.
  • Work with minimal supervision to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • The job requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Handling heavy loads and working at heights may be required.
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods are common.
  • Attention to detail is essential to ensure high-quality finishes.
  • Manual dexterity is necessary for operating power tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
