Job Title: Concrete Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Brenta Forming and Framing. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade and depth specifications.
  • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is properly set.
  • Level the top surface of concrete according to grade and depth specifications.
  • Impart the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures as required.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
  • Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions from supervisors.
  • Work with minimal supervision and take initiative to complete tasks efficiently.
Work Environment:

As a Concrete Finisher, you will work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in physically demanding conditions.

Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in concrete finishing or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret specifications.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with varying weather conditions.
