Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at MANITOBA LTD. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload products and materials from trucks, containers, and storage areas
  • Operate a variety of equipment to move materials and products, including forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Pick orders and stock products in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Weigh materials and goods to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Make labels and attach them to goods as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
  • Wrap and pack goods for shipping and storage
  • Sort, crate, and stack goods to ensure efficient storage and retrieval
  • Install, lash, and secure goods to prevent damage during transportation
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure accurate tracking and reporting
  • Participate in hazardous products handling and storage procedures to ensure a safe working environment

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
