Corporate Director, Data Management and Security

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Director to lead our RapidScale Infrastructure Security and Security Operations team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our cybersecurity strategy, ensuring the security and integrity of our infrastructure, and leading our security operations team.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that aligns with our business objectives
- Lead the RapidScale Infrastructure Security and Security Operations team, providing strategic direction and guidance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security and integrity of our infrastructure
- Develop and maintain metrics to track key elements of our security program
- Ensure executives and other senior leaders understand their role in security risk mitigation and control enforcement
- Partner with our CCI team to develop and implement security controls and technology
- Contribute to the development of RapidScale policies and procedures
- Lead ad hoc security projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in incident response activities and oversee notification requirements
- Work with stakeholders on remediation efforts from audits, risk assessments, and other internal/external findings
- Lead and coordinate large-scale information security projects
- Partner with other functional groups to develop and manage operational support structures
- Provide leadership and strategic direction for the function, including budgeting and capital planning
- Oversee and lead contract negotiations and vendor management
- Stay up-to-date with industry-leading cybersecurity information and inform product roadmaps
- Consult with senior leadership on security threats and incident response practices
- 10+ years of experience in a related field, including 5+ years in a management or leadership role
- CISSP, CISM, or industry-relevant technical certifications
- Proven experience with corporate security, compliance, and audit programs
- Ability to make strategic decisions, supervise complex programs, and manage highly skilled professionals
- Excellent customer service skills, writing, and executive presentation skills
