About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Pet Valu. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in helping our customers find the right products for their pets, while also providing exceptional customer service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service and support to our customers, answering their questions and helping them find the right products for their pets.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
  • Restock shelves and maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring that our products are always available and easily accessible to our customers.
  • Assist with receiving and processing inventory, including unloading delivery vehicles and putting away stock.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays, ensuring that our store looks its best and is visually appealing to our customers.

Requirements:

  • Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of POS systems and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Outgoing and friendly personality with strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable means of transportation to and from the store.
