About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team at Muys Construction. As a key member of our crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt under the guidance of experienced crew members.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Participate in the demolition of buildings, removing rubble and debris from construction sites.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work outdoors, at heights, and in dusty environments.
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation.
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, and gloves are required.
Work Environment

Our construction sites are fast-paced and physically demanding, with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a variety of locations.

Language and Communication

English is the primary language used in our workplace, and you will be required to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.

Work Schedule

This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week. You will be required to work a standard Monday to Friday schedule, with occasional overtime as needed.
