Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Manufacturing Technician to join our team for a temporary 6-month term. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and installing electro-mechanical components, compression fittings, and threaded fittings. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment, be able to read mechanical drawings, and possess strong verbal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble and install electro-mechanical components, compression fittings, and threaded fittings.
- Build and repair mechanical aspects of test stations.
- Conduct leak and pressure tests, check quality, and check build for errors.
- Prepare equipment for shipment.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Able to read mechanical drawings.
- Experience in assembling mechanical components.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management, prioritization skills, and attention to detail.
- It is an asset to have experience in tubing and pipefitting skills, working with pressurized gases and fluids, assembly of automation equipment, electrical and electromechanical subassemblies, or electrical panel building.
