Child Care Instructor

The YMCA of Northern Alberta is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Child Minding Instructor. As a key member of our preschool program team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction and care to our young members.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse group of children and families, promoting social, emotional, and cognitive development. As a Child Minding Instructor, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of our members
- Providing a safe and nurturing environment that encourages learning and exploration
- Building strong relationships with parents and caregivers to ensure a smooth and successful experience for our members
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective program
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with children (an asset)
- Certifications in Standard First Aid & CPR-C
- Able to obtain a Police Information Check and Vulnerable sector check
