Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Worker to join our team at Chetwynd General Hospital. As an Environmental Services Worker, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain clean and disinfected conditions in patient/resident/client rooms, operating rooms, diagnostic imaging and laboratory, labour and delivery rooms, washrooms, corridors, hallways, lounges, offices, and common areas.
  • Perform a variety of environmental services duties throughout the facility, including cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking supplies.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the hospital.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.

Requirements
  • Grade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively.

  • Ability to operate related equipment.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
