Structural Welder (Shop) Job Opportunity

Alstar Group of Companies Ltd. is a leading provider of quality construction services to the oil & gas industry. With a strong presence in Calgary and Leduc, we are seeking a skilled Structural Welder (Shop) to join our Structural Steel Department.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Apprentice or Journeyman Certification
  • CSTS-20/CSO, WHMIS 2015, and Fall Protection certifications
  • CWB Flux Core Flat position minimum
  • CWB tickets for MCAW and FCAW
  • Fitting experience as an asset
  • Oil and gas experience required

Available shifts include:

  • Monday to Thursday - 10 hr shifts + OT (days & afternoon)
  • Friday to Sunday - 12 hr shifts with premiums
