Job Title: Structural Steel Detailer
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Structural Steel Detailer to join our team at Glenmore Fabricators Ltd. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for preparing engineering designs and drawings, reading blueprints to determine work requirements, estimating costs and materials, and examining drawings for conformity and errors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare engineering designs and drawings for structural steel fabrication
- Read blueprints to determine work requirements and estimate costs and materials
- Examine drawings for conformity and errors, and prepare shop drawings
- Collaborate with our team to ensure high-quality fabrication and timely delivery
Requirements:
- Steel detailing Certification
- Drafting Trade Certification
- Experience with Tekla, MS Office, and MS Windows
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
