Job Title: Civil Contract Project Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Civil Contract Project Coordinator to oversee contracts for municipal infrastructure and land development projects. As a key member of our team, you will ensure compliance with construction standards and regulations, coordinate with project teams, manage budgets, and communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and contractors.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, designers, and inspectors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Assist in preparing project budgets for construction services, ensuring accurate cost estimates and financial planning.
  • Evaluate feedback on construction documents and troubleshoot construction issues, maintaining high-quality project deliverables.
  • Maintain open communication with project managers and clients regarding project status and quality, ensuring timely updates and resolutions.
  • Participate in project status meetings and conduct on-site observations to monitor project progress and identify potential risks.
  • Ensure project compliance with contract documents and regulatory requirements, protecting the company's interests and reputation.
  • Support project managers in client relations related to construction and contract administration, fostering strong relationships and trust.
  • Provide timely responses to project completion queries, ensuring prompt issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Evaluate contractor performance to guarantee project deliverables and quality standards, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Conduct or participate in pre-construction meetings to discuss project scope, timelines, and expectations.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, manuals, and other project submittals, verifying compliance with specifications and regulations.
  • Assemble and verify change order information for approval, accurately tracking project changes and costs.
  • Process contractor payment requests for Certificate of Payment preparation, ensuring timely payments and efficient cash flow.
  • Prepare letters of reduction of municipal securities, managing project finances and obligations.
  • Maintain positive relationships with municipal, client, and contractor representatives, promoting collaboration and mutual understanding.
