Work SettingHotel, Motel, Resort environmentTasks and Responsibilities
  1. Sweep, mop, and polish floors to maintain cleanliness and shine
  2. Dust all furniture to ensure a tidy and welcoming atmosphere
  3. Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to remove dirt and debris
  4. Make beds and change sheets to provide a fresh and clean environment for guests
  5. Distribute clean towels and toiletries to ensure guests have everything they need
  6. Stock linen closets to maintain inventory and prevent shortages
  7. Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items in a prompt and courteous manner
  8. Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and healthy environment
  9. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain the overall cleanliness of the hotel
  10. Clean changing rooms and showers to ensure a clean and hygienic environment for guests
