About the Role

We are seeking a highly responsible and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at a Museum. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of workers, clients, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular site patrols to monitor the premises and respond to any incidents or security breaches
  • Monitor CCTV cameras and access control systems to ensure the security of the site
  • Provide security escorts and respond to calls for service in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitor mechanical equipment and after-hour events to prevent any potential security risks
  • Provide emergency assistance, first aid, or any other intervention as needed
  • Detect, challenge, and relocate unwanted persons from the premises
  • Evacuate the building in case of an emergency
  • Provide outstanding customer service to visitors and clients
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid security guard license and first aid card
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Eligibility to work in Canada
  • Customer service experience
  • Good computer skills
