We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Lead to join our team at HCLTech. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the testing efforts for our projects, ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the testing team, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Coordinate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliverables.
- Execute and oversee various types of testing, including functional, regression, automation testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with the development team to resolve issues.
- Monitor and report on testing progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to testing best practices, standards, and processes.
- Mentor and train junior testers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 6-7 years of relevant experience in software testing.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Test Lead or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., VBScript, Python) for test automation.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and identify areas for improvement.
- Defect management tools – qTest, Jira.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Salary and Benefits
