Your Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Senior Architectural Designer to join our Toronto office. Our projects span a range of building types, including commercial, mixed-use, retail, industrial, hospitality, public buildings, and healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with talented architects and technologists to produce quality projects.
- Develop project criteria, scope of services, detailed work plans, drawing lists, schedules, and resource requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Pull together design teams to create design concepts and presentation materials.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the project team to produce successful design and construction documentation.
- Coordinate with project consultants, such as electrical, mechanical, and structural engineers.
- Resolve complex design and technical issues.
- Manage client relationships and develop these throughout the project process.
- Ensure projects are delivered effectively through efficient resource management and achieving scheduled milestones.
Requirements
- A recognized degree in architecture coupled with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
- OAA registration is preferred.
- Knowledge of healthcare (hospital) planning is an asset as well as solid knowledge of building construction.
- Ability to meet aggressive deadlines.
- An innovative and forward-thinking approach to design and a natural curiosity for staying current with new trends, materials, and construction methods.
- Strong technical knowledge and technical drawing experience in Revit.
- Excellent graphic communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to add value to all stages of project delivery.
Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year
