About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at KHALSA PHYSIOTHERAPY CLINIC. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists and occupational therapists in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Rehabilitation Support: Assist physiotherapists and occupational therapists in carrying out treatment programs to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal functionality and patient safety.
  • Documentation: Accurately document patient rehabilitation progress to facilitate effective communication among healthcare professionals.
  • Scheduling: Schedule and confirm appointments to ensure seamless patient flow.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Work Setting: Office of a healthcare professional.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, excellent oral communication, judgement, accuracy, flexibility, initiative, reliability, and team player.
