About the Role

MKA Canada, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its team in a dynamic and challenging role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing a team of estimators in the development of conceptual level to highly detailed level estimates and construction audits in the resolution of claims in a wide ranging number of projects.
  • Overseeing project finances and reports to ensure the quality and accuracy of our work product.
  • Building and maintaining client relationships to obtain their confidence and trust.
  • Staffing and delegating tasks to team members to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Preparing weekly forecasts for staff under their supervision.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and industry standards.

    The ideal candidate will possess:

    • Strong leadership and technical expertise in construction quantity surveying, estimating, and cost management functions.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
    • Sound judgment and decision-making skills to provide cost and financial advice at any stage of a building project.
    • Knowledge of construction design and layout plans, specifications, construction codes and standards to ensure accurate and compliant project delivery.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks accordingly.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel and Word and knowledge of various estimating software systems.
